The following is a list of items that typically comprise a turnkey Base Camp operation. All, portions, or single items from this list can be provided for short or long durations.

Engineered Soft Wall Structures

Climate controlled frame tent facilities with floors, lights, doors and fire extinguishers. Units are provided with cots and/or metal-framed beds and mattresses, cell phone charging stations, and linen service. Tents are sized to provide 45 square feet of space per person.

Hard Wall Structures

Hard Wall Containerized Berthing Units have separate living facilities for 2-4 persons in secure climate controlled rooms. These units contain sleeping space, storage lockers and common area for 2 to 4 persons per unit. All units are modular and can be extended or reduced based on incident requirements.

Temporary Power and HVAC

Diesel powered generators and fuel are provided to power all Base Camp related equipment. Distribution and outlets are routed as required by site configuration in accordance with the National Electric Code. All electrical equipment is NEMA 3R rated for outdoor use and installation and trained electrical technicians perform monitoring of the electrical systems. ASME rated HVAC units are provided for all occupant facilities to ensure satisfactory temperatures are maintained at all times. All ducting is sealed to prevent contamination and connections to structures are made with tight fitting transition hardware.

Food Service

Typical turn-key camps include a full service kitchen providing 3 hot meals per day. Boxed/prepared lunches are also available for occupants who are not in the camp during lunch hours. Each facility is operated in accordance with USDA Food Codes and is overseen by trained chefs and food service supervisory personnel. All associated equipment to operate the kitchen and dining facility are provided as well as floors, doors, lights, fire prevention devices and climate controls. The Dining Facility is available for meetings during non-operational periods.

Water System

Base camp infrastructure includes a water distribution system to support kitchens, showers, laundries, lavatories, and other camp requirements. All water related equipment is NSF61 potable water rated and water quality testing is performed weekly. Wastewater is routed to onsite approved sewer locations or collected in tanks via secure pumps and piping system. If an onsite sewer is not available, all wastewater is transported offsite via sealed vacuum tankers and disposed of at a permitted disposal facility.

Ablution and Hygiene

Mobile Showers and toilets are provided for occupant use. Soap, paper towels, and other consumables are replenished by camps staff and all facilities are sanitized and cleaned daily.

Laundry Facilities

Depending on camp size, laundry facilities are either provided with one or more containerized laundry units or in a tented structure. A single containerized laundry unit contains six washers and six dryers, while a tented facility contains anywhere from five to fifty washers and dryers. All laundry facilities are self-serve. Detergent is provided for occupant use.

Moral Welfare & Recreation (MWR)

An MWR facility constists of a tented structure with equipment for reading and relaxing. This facility includes Direct TV, wireless-internet, magazines, newspapers, and a DVD library for use by camp occupants. Fitness equipment for strength and aerobic training is provided in an adjacent area. Cell phone/laptop charging stations are also located in the MWR tent.

Medical

24/7 on site medical services are provided during camp operational periods. EMT and ambulance service can also be provided as required.

Security

Perimeter fencing is installed as needed and security personnel are located at all camp entrances. Entry to camp is granted only when proper credentials are provided. In addition to perimiter security, roving patrol staff maintain secrity withing the camp.
